Welcome to Media for Development

We are a not-for-profit organisation that uses different media to reach, engage, and empower isolated communities in the United Kingdom and internationally. We have worked with a wide cross-section of partner agencies and clients in more than 30 different countries around the world.

The Inside Job

The Inside Job is our multi-award winning initiative operating within the criminal justice system in the United Kingdom. It encompasses educational media projects in prisons, a resettlement project for serving and ex-offenders, a multi-media production company employing serving offenders, and an innovations scheme targeting prison officers.

Afghanistan

Location: Afghanistan

Working in partnership with Tearfund, one of the UK's leading international NGOs, we are supporting the development of a major new communications initiative that will raise the level of awareness and understanding of how to reduce risk within disaster-prone rural communities. At a local level, the project will pilot Radio Listening Clubs amongst communities within Kandahar Province.
